What is the correct size wheel and tire for a 51 truck and where would I find the the right ones. The wheels I have on there are 15 inch and 5 lugs chrome and am considering going back to originals if I can find them.

    5 lug you say?

    Me thinks original had 6...

Anyway, there is plenty of info about this in past pages. Try a search and see what happens.

    Think "W-I-D-E W-H-I-T-E-S"!!!

    Wheels

I'd like to ride on this thread:) My original 16" wheels were rotted out to the point that I felt they were unsafe:( and I've been surfing the net for new replacements. I found lots of 15 inchers but have not yet found anything similar to the original in 16". When I get my truck done, I hope to have it looking like the true farm truck it was, stake bed, cow catcher and all.

Anyone know anyone who sells new 16" plain jane 6 lug steel wheels??
