    Hello all,

Just got my turn lights working, thanks to Chevy Duty wire harness. Now need help with stock horn. How is it wired to the steering? The horn button in the steering is connecting to what at where to activate the horn. How is it in the steering column?

The horn wire is a brown wire that pokes out at the inside bottom of the steering column-just under the dash. It links into the harness via a spade connector. The same brown wire then pokes out of the harness under the hood into the horn relay on the firewall and then the actual wire to the horn usually comes out of the harness with the alternator/generator wires.

If you have the Chevyduty wiring harness there is actually a number legend that came with it that will identify the horn wire more exactly.

Where does the brown wire that pokes out the steering column attach or connect to the horn button? Do I need a 76-811 or a 27-225 ?

    Thanks,

It has a contact ring at the top of the sterring colum that the wire hooks too.
