I have a mint 1960 C10 Apache --- totally stock with 47,000 original miles. Farmers wife's truck out of Nebraska with all paperwork -- tried to sell complete with no luck for a reasonable price. I am going to go ahead and part this vehicle out, although it is an absolute shame. From the fleetside box on forward it is absolutely mint and box just has damage on drivers side. At any rate would someone be kind enough to suggest fair pricing for the following: 1. Mint hood -- no dents / dings / solid mounts and braces. It is PERFECT. 2. Doors -- fantastic outer / inner / bottoms / glass / everything 3. Front fenderss -- drivers side perfect / pass side has 3" patch of rust at tip 4. Perfect inner fenders -- look like new trucks. 5. Original engine with 47,000 miles 6. Heater unit 7. Front grille surrounding headlights with hooded bezels -- MINT. 8. 5 orginal rims --- 15" with clips .... rears with brand new Cooper Radials 9. cab -- fantastic .... windshield does have crack. rear glass fine 10. front bumper with brackets ............ please dont part it out, thats a such a rare find in that condition, please be patient and the right buyer WILL come along. it would be such a shame to see that truck pulled apart piece by piece!! parting it out is how the good trucks and cars disappear and theirs less and less off them everyday, and one day soon they will all be gone forever never to come back again. that would be like blowing up the egyption pyramids, history that can never be remade!!!!
How much are you asking for the truck? You can list it in the Trucks for sale section. Post some good pics of it, that helps alot!!
I second 66 custom's post. Please don't part her out! When I found my truck with 38k actual I could not sleep till I owned it! There are lots of other people out there who will pay good money for your beautiful truck! Some things are worth far more then the sum of there parts. Best of luck Dave
post pictures like all the guys above are saying it will sale eventully sooner than later if it runs and drives its worth $1500 to $2000.00 depending on all body condtions and motor and trans.
