I need opinion I have a powerglide behind a inline 6 i have the option of a 700r4, I beleive the powerglide would be pretty much a bolt up. How much hassle to hookup the 700? Is it worth it? The truck is going to be a daily driver? the engine will be overbored and hopped up a little. i guess i just want to think what you all think? Kilroy was here!!!!
If its going to be a daily driver, I would go with the 700 r4. Because of fuel milage that would be my choice. Not too much more of a hassle with it. Just need to get a lock up switch for 4th gear and set up the tv cable correctly. I put one in my 61 4x4 and I love it. I can cruise at 70 mph at 1800 rpm.
