my saterday morning find

    this has factory a/c and factory power stearing factory custom stearing wheel, factory overload leaf springs. i dont know if i should rebuild this truck or part it out. bought this truck from an old man that was tired of for 200 bucks. nevermind the junk on the back it came with the truck. theres about 200 wirth of junk on back of truck. https://talk.classicparts.com/photos/showgallery.php?cat=500&ppuser=6721

    Wow, that's a smokin' deal there! Those are some pretty cool options on the truck. If you do decide to part it, there are a couple of things on it I'd be interested in. Personally, though, I would use as much of that stuff on the 4by as I could and sell the rest to help cover expenses on the resto. Or restore it and have 2 really cool toys to play with. Either way, you can't go wrong!

    That truck has some interesting options that normally didn't make their way onto these trucks. I think my '63 project was in worse condition when I found it. :D Let us know what you plan to do with it...I'm sure some of the people here are very interested in some of those parts. ;)

    okay guys ive decided to put this old girl back on the road. i have a stock small block and a 700r lined up for saturday. its really in to good of shape to part or scrap. but i have a line on a third truck that the man says has air and p/s if so i will part it out

    That is probably the right decision banjoman. It would be sad to see such a well optioned truck taken apart if its in decent shape. Keep us in mind on the parts from the other one you're getting though.
