pic of what ive done lately to the 64

    here is a couple of pics of what ive done to the 64 not much but what do you do about time :D. ive done the brakes and put some wheels on her.i think the wheels are a cragar or something like that i painted the iner parts and cleaned up the outer fins. the motor is a 350ci mild cam nothing real fancy :D. i hate to say it but the motor is ford red. i know i know but i like the color. it looks orange in some of the pics thought.

    and i installed the gas tank i bought from are host here fit nice. would recommed it if your putting one back there.:D

    Looks good. I had a fuel tank like that in my truck before we disassembled it. The only problem i had was the tank sat to high in the frame. Had to notch out the bed brace that mounts over the tank. Good luck with your project.

    quick question, how far does that tank hang below the frame rails?

    about 7 inchs below the frame, and about 2 above. im sure ill have to trim the bed crose brace about 1/4 inch to clear when it time to remount the bed. mark

    Sorry to jake your tread 64 shortbed but wanted to say I miss the Dukes of Hazzard show thats what I grew up on :rolleyes: ever friday night even had the model of General Lee 69 Dodge Charger ( 01) love that car...;)

    i have the model of the general and the 1/64 scale general ,daisys jeep , hoggs caddy, and one of the cop cars that i have had sence i was a kid. love the general
