Howdy!:7 just wanted to make intro, been auto mech for 20 yrs. needed something older than my '88 dakota to work on, so I bought a '58 3200 small window off of e-bay. I almost forgot how simple things were back then. The kid that I bought it from did an engine swap (a 250 I-6 from a '75 Nova), and did a nice job so now you know why the username! I Need to find 2 items: 1.) a set of headlight panels (Both sides, Buckets and all), and 2.) a throttle linkage setup for the 283 engine(or original 6 Cyl if it will work).
they regularly sell used ones on e-bay. If you have non stock 6banger,it might be easiest to use an aftermarket linkage that you can customize to fit,rather than fool around with an original one.
