A local guy here converted his farm into a 1950's village with diner, store, car dealership, drive in movie screen, church, etc. Each Memorial Day he opens it up for all to come. My truck was number 585 so I am sure there were at least 600 to 700 cars there. Here are some pics. https://talk.classicparts.com/photos/showgallery.php?ppuser=5596&cat=500 Like a big dummy I didn't take any of my own. You can see it there beside the dark blue 50. I wanted to show off my 48 Tennessee tag that I have added since my last pics but that will wait till I get the camera out again. Gater Hey Zig, I even found a G for you.
Great photos! I love how the white grill R-E-A-L-L-Y shows off its beauty! Those are some sweet rides! I'm wondering if you bought the light blue ride, G? I know you are looking for another one.
Ken, Here are a couple of sites that give a flavor of the village. http://www.camaroandmustang.com/memory_lane_2006_in_rogersville.htm http://www.angelfire.com/tn/rhs/memorylane.html I wish there was a good picture of the old country store but I don't see one and I didn't get one while I was there. It was real crowded and I am not into crowds much. Gater
