    Help me

    --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

    Hi guys/gals,
It has been a while since I posted to this site.
Since last time I posted , I had my frame sandblasted and painted and started putting the old girl back together. I put a 4/6 drop and converted to front discs. I bought a 400CI 4 bolt main and stroked it to 420 with AFR 195 heads and an air gap intake. she will be around 575/600 HP.
I still have a ton of metal work to do but I am getting there.

In my haste I discarded the lever or mechanism for the emergency brake cable on my rear drums. I bought everything else but you cant but that peice new.
If you have one, or two in my case, I would be happy to give you my first born for them.

    Indeep, see if this helps

Use this web sight and go down to the miscellaneous section where its talking about emergency brakes and open this, there is more information at the end.
    I hope this helps

    Thanks for the post,
I can see how I could have confused everyone now that I look back at my post.

What I am looking for are the parts within the rear hub.
The e-brake lever and the peice (not sure what you call it) which connects to the brake pads horrizontally.
    I looks like a long H.

    Thanks

those look like standard e-brake parts, are they specific to the 64-66's?

Thanks for the link. This is just what I need for my project! I have '62 sheet metal on an early 80's chassis. I needed to figure out how to put the 2 systems together. I didn't care for the handle under the column anyway.
