Hello stovebolters out there i wish you all a good summer. I am progressing my rear axle project on my 1950chevy 1/2 ton truck. But its hard to find some parts trough classic Parts. I need some adresses where i could buy new rear wheel studs, complete both rear axle seats end the dowel pin thats locking near the axle tube. Is there some one whom could help me out here? Desperate for parts? I hate to hear about anyone who needs parts very badly Jim Carter parts has wheel studs (front and back) and Chev's of the 40's has a number of rear end parts to choose from. Good luck!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm sure others will chime in to help our friends accross the big pond
In addition to what Steve said, Obsolete Chevy Parts in Atlanta, Georgia is also a good source to get "hard to find" items. If you don't already have their catalogs, you should get them.
Needing parts badly Martinius, in addition to the above there is "The filling Station", Grumpy's Chevrolet Parts and a number of others. Some have just chevy and gms parts and others also include early chevy cars. Not all have the same items and it takes shopping from various vendors to get all the items you may need. If you can't find these on the internet - all have websites I believe, you can post yor specific needs in the "parts wanted" section of the forum also. Sometimes the only way to find a rare part is to ask here if someone has a spare. Let us know how you make out.
Parts badly wanted Thanks to you gentlemen whom helped me out with the needed parts. Have an nice summer. Attached an file that shows some locally stuff from the part of the beautifull country i live in. Ha det godt og god sommer ønskes fra Martinius . http://
british parts You could try uk E-BAY or the NSRA web site, rear axles often turn up on there as they are swapped out for later axles,
Awesome truck! I couldn't open up your link, but went to stovebolt to see it. You've got a beautiful truck there and obviously a love for trains also. Thanks for sharing the pictures with us. Here's the link: http://www.stovebolt.com/gallery/berg_martinius_1950.html
UuuHuhhh! Red, Cream, AND WIDE WHITES?!!! Tits! What's best is knowing how a vision of a few has spread around the globe. Think of the guy... (or guys-) (sorry, doubt there were any gals DIRECTLY involved with this design.) ...that drew this up on his board. There it was- an AD. It was a three dimensional view. Just what ours look like. (Well- OK. Except some of us have the more manly grill...) You KNOW this design was the result of late nights by this guy at some H-O-T babe's place! Those curves... that soft, subtle curve of thigh... Where might you find this feature on your ride? Yup- you love your AD for reasons you haven't even considered. You _love_ curves... everyone else drives a box. Hey- boxes are fine! But~ Before you get to the box, you HAVE to enjoy the curves! Wow~ excuse me... What I meant to say was, "Nice Ride!!!"
Beautiful AD Design It's just like a good woman : A curvaceous body that won't quit even as the years go by.....
Oh , YEAH As I was sitting across from my lovely lady to-day I ruminated upon just this similarity . She was telling me some of the other women @ her work asked if she'd had an ' body work ' done and she said ' nope ! I was born with all this ! '
