New to the forum and just saying hello.

I recently purchased a 64 2wd C10 stepside with inline 6 and 3 speed. It has some rot in both cowls, but the rest of the body is solid. There are some dents, but it only had 90,000 original miles. The truck has been sitting a while so there is a good amount of work to get her running again.

I look forward to learning from the rest of you as I get her running. Money allowing I hope to get it on the road by fall. Long term it will become a Hot Rod.

Here is some camera phone pics of the beauty. Best I can tell it has had some floor work and is completely original everywhere else. From what the owner told me it was bought by his uncle, garage kept. Then it was bought by his father in 1983 with 47,000 miles on it. His father kept it in a garage as well and put the other 43,000 miles on it. In 1997 his father passed away and eventually he brought it from Louisiana to Texas and it sat in his yard.

It needs a good once over to get it back on the road (carb rebuild, fluid change, battery, brakes, hoses, belt, shocks, springs, etc.)
