steering column probs.

    I want to keep my factory column but i think the plastic/nylon joints are bad. lotta play/slop up and down holding the wheel. also, can i adjust the manual steering box to get some of the play left to right out?. thanks again and check out my new pics...

    Don't mess with steering !! Figure out where the problem is and fix that ! Trying to compensate for a steering column problem by adjusting the steeing box isn't really safe.

    Check the rag joint closely. Slop is sometimes caused by a worn rag joint. If that goes, you have NO steering so make sure.

    If you can move the steering wheel up and down with no movement of the column you have at least one problem with the column.

    But ,,, check everything !!!
