I bought a set of king pins from classic parts and the bushings are too small for the spindles.

The bushings I drove out were the original GM bushings and had not spun. I mic'd the bores and both bushings; the original bushings were .0015" larger than the bore in the spindle and the new bushings are .0015"-.002" smaller than the bore. I have only been able to find king pin kits that the pin is oversized not the bushings.

Has anyone else had this problem?

What did you do if so?

Knurling the bores is not an option; the knurling can't handle the weight. the bores need to be solid.

I put the same kit you have in my 59. I'm thinking that I read somwhere that the bushings where supposed to float in the spindles. It all worked fine in my truck, and havent had any issues with them. Chris
