I want to replace the AC directional vents in my truck. I did a mock up and they fit loosely. I read in a forum there is some type of material that make the vents secure and stay in position.
Has anyone done this replacement? Also if you have where can I find this material. I looked through some of the parts sites and couldn't locate anything.

    Thanks..

I've had good luck with felt. I cut the felt into small washers and installed them on to the sides of each vent and then push the vent back in place. Sometimes you may have to use two on each side to achieve a firm fit. Felt can be found in may diffent colors at most craft stores and I believe at walmart.

    Thanks David,
When you said felt that rang a bell. My wife uses it at school on her bulletin board. I will cut up some of hers and try it. I will look around for some that is thick.
    Thanks again for the help!!
