That's cool. I haven't heard of that publication before but I will try to hunt one down next month. Clicked on your user profile to find a pic of your truck. Just saw one and you have a nice ride there. Do you have any more pics that you have posted somewhere?

Yeah. great mag, was a subscriber but the delivery was so inconsistant over here, shame because i had more success finding it in news shops than in my mailbox! loved the rat rod style cars and trucks and the pin ups too:eek: has influenced me with how mine is gonna turn out, i will keep a look out for you in there cheb

    Congrats on the "Photo Op"

Way to go Russ! Kinda like getting your picture on the cover of the Rolling Stone!

Are those Buick headlight bezels on your truck? They are soooo smooth!

BTW, thanks for turning me on to the website. I've been a lurker there for a few months now. I'll definitely make a trip to SuperWallyWorld to get a copy of the Oct mag!

Today has turned into a great eye candy day, thanks to y'all.
Another very nice truck/ride. It will be some time before I think about final hard paint. Looking at what has been up on the board the last few days has been a treat. Thanks Again. :D

Those are 53 buick rings, very easy to install. The eyeball is just keeping an "eye" on things back there. My truck is the first vehicle I pinstriped. The paint is nowhere near finished, I'm thinking bass boat silver flake under candy organic green, with silver flake interior.

ill keep my eye out, ive been subscribed to that mag and kar culture deluxe mag since they started them a few years back. your truck is exactly the style that i like, im very much into 40's and 50's era style of hot rodding and rat rodding, almost everthing ive built ends up a high horse powerd bucket of unsafe rust that goes very fast. these last few years ive finally gotten into doing more of the "finished" style hot rodding like your truck. very good job on the pinstripping!!

im looking forward to seeing your ride in there!!

I like em old school but with modern conveniences. I will be installing an independant rear from a 95 tbird soon, I'll do a tech article.
I like everything hidden, so it all looks old. I hid my air ride switches in an old lunch box, so you can't see them, just looks like an old millworker's lunchbox sitting on the seat.

    Old Lunchbox On The Seat......

    That's a nice touch .

I'm still using a black metal Alladin Dinner Pail (the good kind , painted white inside), made in Tennesee , my old one finally died and I panicked as no one makes the ' Just So ' ones anymore , so I whined and cried until my buddy in the backwoods of Tn. went up a Holler to the old general store and found one still sitting on the shelf , made in the early 1970's ~ he was very sorry they still insisted on the original price of $10.00 , even though someone had dropped it 20 years ago and broken the vacuum bottle....

ol chebby, i was so disapointed last night, i got home and there was a new car kulture deluxe magazine in the mail.

(car kulture deluxe and old skool rodz are sister mags made by the same people, 6 issues a year each, and they alternate months so you get a new mag every month)

that means i have to wait a whole nother month to see you your truck in the mag!!
