It has been 2 and a half years since my tear down and though I took a ton of pictures it seems the very ones I should have taken I don't have. Moreover the 1954 assembly manual doesn't show my radiator support. Mine has only one bolt to the crossmember instead of all those I see with two. Also I see most with the X support rods and I don't find any in my pile of parts. Nah, my 51 3/4 has only one bolt under the rad. No cross brace either. I have cut out 2 of the x braces from 1/2 tons in order to put in the a/c units.
I was worried that having only one bolt down there it would need the braces to keep the rad from torquing.
