It has been 2 and a half years since my tear down and though I took a ton of pictures it seems the very ones I should have taken I don't have. Moreover the 1954 assembly manual doesn't show my radiator support. Mine has only one bolt to the crossmember instead of all those I see with two. Also I see most with the X support rods and I don't find any in my pile of parts. I wonder if being a 3/4 ton is why it is different.

Nah, my 51 3/4 has only one bolt under the rad. No cross brace either. I have cut out 2 of the x braces from 1/2 tons in order to put in the a/c units.

I was worried that having only one bolt down there it would need the braces to keep the rad from torquing.

When you put it all together again, it'll be nice and snug.
