Anyone with experience installing a Mustang II IFS onto a 3/4 ton frame? I am working with a '58 fleetside apache 3/4 ton; in particular, are there any differences between 1/2 and 3/4 frame that I need to adjust/adapt for? Also, any suggested steering setups? I will probably put a 350 with appropriate driveline into this beast. I am early into the effort, so could consider a rolling chassis. Anyone out there who has done the latter as an alternative? RE: Mustang II IFS onto 3/4 58 flee chevy duty offers the mustang 2 but for a 1/2 ton only!!!! I don't know of anyone making the kit for a 3/4 ton. When I put the kit under my 58 it dropped the front almost a foot! my front bumper is 6 inches off the ground with stock spindles, thats why no one makes it for the 3/4 ton.
