    Fulton SunShade

This is a Derigeur item if you like true 50's look and function .

If the underside of it is painted a funky green , DO NOT re-paint that part ! that's Fulton's ' Scientifically developed anti - glare color '.....

I'm supposed to have one of these but still waiting , one of these days it'll shoow up I ferverently hope .

As far as traffic light viewing , there's a nifty glass prisim that screws into one of the inner windshield garnish screws , you look at the light through that , they're out there N.O.S. and re-pop too .

I like them. I have been looking for one myself for a fair price. I think it definitely adds a bit of that nostalgic look.

    Paint!

Dont worry Nate, only the running gear has got a lick of paint on my old gal, this visor (ifn it goes on) will stay as is, they are quite rare over here and as it was such a good match i had to get it just to give me the option and not to sit there one day and think 'if i had bought it.....'

    Mounting

    O.K. Neil ;

I only wish I had a way to copy you a set of the original Fulton installation instructions I have copies of for AD's and others...

The main thing is : fiddle with it's position before drilling those necessary holes in the drip rail ! .

I also always slide a long(ish) piece of 1/4" steel rod between the two halves as they were designed to go 45 ~ 50 MPH tops and I drive faster than that plus wind gusts (and ignorant Pikeys) tend to grab aholt and yank on them occasionally , no need to let it bend easily .

    Wonderful world of the web

No worries Nate, found the original instructions online while i was checking if it was a real Fulton before i made a bid.

You say about a 1/4 rod but mine has 2 v shaped tubes drilled for screws to allow adjustment of the visor, they slide into each panel where the rolled edge is, top and bottom and let you adjust overall width of the visor.

    rolling 50's style

I love the visor's, sure they limit your view, some may say they decrease your mpg's, and so on, and so on....But what is rodding all about, it's about making them look good to the eye of the beholder! :D

Not sure where it came from but it was probs a sunny state as the paint is faded big time, its not been rubbed down or anything its just faded. dead straight too with every single nut and bolt! i paid just under 300 bucks but ive seen them go for much much more over here.

Opinion really is divided on these aint it:D

Their cool in my opinion , but ive got one lol,
mines a fulton 800 and fits into the door shut via 4 screws each side , (ive bolted mine via 4 rivnuts each side , i dont like sheet metal 'rust-trap' screws )
they do add a bit of 50's nostalgia , but i understand its a personal thing if you like em or not ,
i got mine off ebay , lovely fella in the states , split it boxed it well and sent it over , cost me £75 in total including shipping which i thought was fantastic , seen as when it turned up it took me half hour to unwrap and was staright as an arrow !

in my opinion , Fit it stand back and admire your truck ;):):D

Mine has a center mount as well as th two side mounts, it clamps round the middle bar of the screen, i will get round to fitting it and seeing what it looks like so i can make my mind up, i will probs go for it but then i will have to get the headlight visors too :D

brit~ you'll go to great lengths to hide the tears, huh? If you were driving a full blown G, you wouldn't have to hide behind that visor...:D
