Dropped by the Wolfe City car show after attending the Winnsboro Model A sponsored meet and saw some very nice rides. Took a shot of a nice 46 and of a 54 that belongs to one of our customers that we did NOT do. We are doing a 48 for him and it has to be right because the 54 pictured he did himself and considers it amateur. At the Model A show my friend and I parked my old 37 Buick and his 52 Pontiac in a lot to watch the A's parade by when a man pulled beside us with a 55 Chevy Bel Air that has 39,008 documented miles on it and is unbelievable. The guy pulled out a for sale sign with 14,500 on it while I was busy showing an old timer the straight eight in my Buick and that dog of a friend of mine bought it on the spot. The last pic is of his Pontiac which he is selling because the 55 is so much nicer. I snoozed and I loozed.

Evan, the 52 Pontiac brings back memories. My dad had a 51 that he really wanted to be able to do something with. Unfortunately it sat around most of the time, due to his health issues. What is killing me, is that my 50 3100 is also sitting around waiting for me to get to it. Wish I had the funds to send it to you for help. Oh well, one of these days.....Mike

Evan, look on the bright side of things!

If I had been with you guys, neither one of you would have that '55! It would be on its way to Tomball with me having the biggest sh*t-eating grin you've ever seen in Texas:D:D:D:D:D!

    What a steal!

    Wow !

I guess I shoulda kept my old 1954 Pontiac Super Chief Coupe with straight 8 cylinder , Hydromatic drive , AC , power windows , working radio (I fixed it) factory skirts & visor plus factory install leather diomond tuck upholstery that matched the shiny original two tone mustard yellow and white paint....

I was just a stupid kid (now a stupid old man) and sold it for..... $50.00
