I have just purchased a 90' C-60 Low Profile Md. Duty Truck with a 366 c.i.d. engine, 5.13 rear-end, 5-sp. man. transmission. It has had a conversion kit added to it and I use it to pull my RV. My problem is I am running 4000 rpm at 70mph. How can I lower rpm without losing power? Has anybody got suggestions? My Chevy Rock is sinking fast!!!! I am an avid Chevy fan and I don't like to admit defeat. Please help! Pa-Pa James
You might check with a GM dealer. You might have to do a transmission swap,or go to a two speed rear axle. Craig Hager tech1@chevyduty.com
