Sorry guys Just done a 16hr non-stop drive from Monaco, been busted twice by the french boys in blue, had a suspect package found on a truck behind me on the eurotunnel and had bomb squad and armed cops all over the place! had to nervously move the truck i was driving the hell outta there and catch a ferry back to blighty so i am a little red eyed! Whats a TF?? an NO! Hell NO!! they are NOT G fenders
Another Olds Here is where most of my time and energy has gone for the last few years...a ways to go yet. Bob
Neil ' TF ' is short for the Task Force series of trucks GM made after stopping the AD series... They're pretty good old trucks and share most running gear but have wider cabs , wrap around " dog Leg " windshields , really good ventilation and on and on.... Hell , they even spoiled Farmers by giving them TWO taillights ! You can actually fit three full sized adults in the seat , no kidding . I considered buying one but they're too wide to fit through my narrow 1923 gate....
Ah ha! I know the trucks you mean, just not used to the tf moniker, and i was soooo tired i was falling asleep mid-typing!
I went through you tube one night looking for classic truck commercials. Some really neat old time videos.
74 Days---so far I've had mine a year now. 74 actual work days--some long--some not. Still a long way to go. Rick
I haven't yet figured out how to post pics directly to the thread, but I have some in my album. All are listed on my webshots page.
