I have a 54 chevy 1/2 ton and would like to put disc brakes on the front,I have a set of disc brakes from a Nova ,rotors,cal,hoses but someone told me I would need a spindle adapter for the inside bearing and seal,What is this and where do I get it?

You will also need new brake lines, and master cylinder. And will need to decide either power booster, or manual brakes. And rims may not clear, depending on which you use.
