I thought I would check to see if anyone else is running alternate power plants in their C-10s, such as Buicks, Cadillacs, Pontiacs, etc. I saw one with an Olds diesel at the LA Roadster show. How did you guys end up fabricating your engine mounts? Just curious.

I'm running a Pontiac (GMC envy perhaps). Here are some mock up pics and how I designed the mounts.

I know a guy thay put a cumins diesel in his 67-72 model 4X4 K10. The hardest part was adapting Dodge wiring harness to a Chevy wiring harness.

    Good metal work! Looks great!

I saw a 1950 with a Mustang 5.0. It had a mustang IFS, so it must have been a bolt-on deal.

Thanks...I really liked the Olds diesel that I saw earlier this year since I was originally going to stuff a Duramax in mine. I just couldn't get any photos of the Olds mounts.
