Gary, yes the outside door reveals can be removed. Someone asked that question not too long ago and there is some real good info on it somewhere on this forum. Try searching the prior posts and maybe the archives too. If you can't find it, hollar at us.

And BTW, the "chrome" mouldings are actually stainless steel, which is a good thing because they clean up really purty;)

Drill out the rivet in the top center where the bulge is. Now pull down gently on the outside layer and work foreward. Pull down on the inside piece and work toward the back. These can take a fair amount of give, but don't go overboard. Other than the rivet, they are just slip in mounted.

Those are called "clutch head" screws. You can buy a set of screw-drivers for them from our host. I always wanted to get a set of drivers for them that would fit my ratchet handle, but never did. the screwdrivers seemed to work on almost every one I needed. Others on this forum (Ken's 50) probably know where to get driver bits.

I bought mine form Snap- on fairly cheap in comparison to the rest of thier tools I also use it in a Thandle Snap on racheting screw driver which gives me plenty of torque to lossen and to tighten
