Hey there folks, Does anyone know if 63's had back up lights installed?? I have a seperate clear housing bolted beneath the brake lights, bout 2.25in round, gonna need replacing. Any one got a handle on GMC VIN Numbers?? Take it easy, Jim 'Plad'
The 60-66 all could have had back-up lights bolted to the fender. There was a stamped flat area for it to sit on.Sorry no way to decode GMC vin numbers,I think GM must of burned the book on those, because we have never seen anything for the GMC. Craig Hager tech1@chevyduty.com
If you could get the web address for the GMC vin.It would be extremly helpful. Thanks Craig Hager tech1@chevyduty.com
I can't help with the reverse lights, but I do know of a place where you can decode that VIN Number. GMC 1960 - 1966 Vin Number decoder: www.favorites.com/~jolly/GMC-TABLES.html This is a good site for GMC info.Check out there main page at www.favorites.com/~jolly/GMCTruck.html
Check out http://www.favorites.com/~jolly/VinNumberChart.JPG. It is a better site than the other url listed.
Hey there##### on the 60-66 chevy and gmc trucks back up lights was a factory option, you could either get the trucks from the dealership with them installed or you could order the truck with them. if you get your vin decoded it should tell you if it came with them from the factory or not. thomas Hey there folks, > >Does anyone know if 63's had >back up lights installed??
