I installed 12-inch disc brakes and a modern power steering unit on my 64 pu and they are welcome upgrades. I refer you to Early Classic Enterprises for both kits. I'm with Speedball ! I did the same conversion on my 64 panel in 8 hours, (not including tear down time) The whole kit went in flawless. The folks at Early Classic are knowledgeable and very friendly.
zgoat-Like solution speedball found about brakes-do you know how I can go from my 17" split rim wheels on my 64 C-30 stepside,to a 16 inch wheel 8lug ? Thanks
you should be able to put standaed 16" rims on your truck stock rim may not fit if it is 4wd if not after market rims will fit thanks zgoat
I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO FIND ANYONE THAT HAS A POWER STEERING CONVERSION KIT FOR THE 1966 3/4 FOUR WHEEL DRIVE. DOSE ANYONE KNOW WHERE I CAN FIND A REBIULD KIT FOR THIS TRUCK. I CAN FIND STEERING BOXS FOR 180.00-215.00 WITH A WHOPPING 300.00 CORE CHARGE IF ANYONE CAN HELP IT WOULD BE NICE THANKS ZGOAT
