I installed 12-inch disc brakes and a modern power steering unit on my 64 pu and they are welcome upgrades. I refer you to Early Classic Enterprises for both kits. They are a reliable source for restoration products. There is a hot link on my web page. I would call them and they will give you technical advice as well as cost estimates for these upgrades. Hope this helps Rick
Check out my web site for details. http://www.geocities.com/richmond2_99/64PU.html

I'm with Speedball ! I did the same conversion on my 64 panel in 8 hours, (not including tear down time)
The whole kit went in flawless. The folks at Early Classic are knowledgeable and very friendly.
