I have a vacuum hose coming off the manifold, it runs up toward the fender. What is it for?? Mine has duct tape over it. Should it be open?? Will it make the truck start or run any different. Thanks

I believe that would be for your vacuum wipers. Leaving it open will cause your performance to suck.:D

    StoveBolt PCV's

Go to FLAPS and look in the cap catalog " Buyer's Guie " , there's one with a grommet in the center , get a PCV valve for any old 60's ~ 70's InLine 6 Banger and install it , you may need to carry the cap and new PCV valve to the HELP ! aisle to find the ' Just So ' grommet .

Now enjoy how much less oil your truck drips .
