keep in mind that the Torker manifold is a high RPM manifold, low RPMs will not respond well, and if your buying new valve covers you will not need to put the filler tube in the manifold as the valve covers have breather holes in them already.
the valve covers i want do not have the breathers in them. so i will put the breather on the oil fill tube. i prefere it that way anyway. the look im going for. also, my truck has a sbc400, a th400 trans and 3.73 rear. i dont need any more low end power. thats why i wanted a single plane intake. i need more midrange and upper rpm power. im likely going to convert the engine to a full roller. and still looking for an old vintage low rise dual quad intake. i plan to run two 390cfm or so carbs if i can find what im looking for. until then ill hold onto the torker i have.
Yup cal customs, thats the name i couldnt remember. you can get them without breather and filler holes. One of my venders bought them for me so i couldnt say no, plus im pretty strict with the ol skool look myself too. Thats just what ive always liked
yeah, i actually want to find an old dual quad low rise intake. but also need to know what number carbs i need. i want to run carter afb 400cfm carbs but cant find anywhere on the web that says what the numbers on the sides of them are so i can check ebay. i know they came stock on lots of old 60's cars though.
