Fellow Chevy owners and Chevy Duty, I have a 1962 Chevy 3/4 ton. 4x4. Drum brakes of course, would like to know if anyone has any ideas about what is involved in putting automatic adjusters on my brake assemblies, or does someone offer a kit. Thank you for any help. J.Corbett

Just did the breaks on my 66 chevy 1/2 ton and it had self adjusters on it, might have to do some work in the emergency break, but these should work. With these the adjuster slot is in the front so might have to get new drums to go with it. Got them from O'rileys for about $22 for the rear front were fine. This setup is not on the 63 I have and dont know about the 64 or 65.
Should be a easey swap though. Dont know what the first year they were used on these trucks but think I'll find out.
    Good Luck1

Thank you, I think 1964 was the first year for auto adjusters on chevy trucks.
