62 motor mount perches

    any suggestions for installation of v8 perches on a 62 frame with no holes in frame previous engine was a 6 cyl also goin with th350 from a 3 on the tree will the tranny fit? it also has the low hump. thanks:confused:

    Tranny will fit. dont know what to tell you on the mounts other than measure twice and drill. I can get you the measurements this evening if you like

    will the aftermarket perches for a 63 fit this frame:confused:

    not sure maybe DValentine can answer this for you. what are you going to do with the inline 6?
    Does it run? Dispalacement? i would be interested.

    There are some aftermarket perches that are advertised for 64-66 trucks that will fit with some work. I can't remember "who" makes them but will make a point of looking it up.

    Yea, that's them.. They were/are manufactured by someone else, who I was trying to remember. I see the"other" truck supplier, who is NOT one of your SISTERS, picked them up. ;)

    If you haven't found motor mount stands for your 62 yet, I have 3 or 4 pair available. Yes, you will need to drills holes on your 62 frame.
