Hi I'm new to this forum I have a 59 3100 that I bought in South Texas about 30 years ago. I'm considering an update with an IFS and a big block and 700r4 and of course modern brakes. I live in the Wichita KS area Anyone out there that can give me advice would be appreaciated. Thanks Bob

Thanks for the welcome Bob. I see you are up by valley center. I'm south of town between Haysville and Clearwater. As I said i've owned my 59 for a long time and driven it all over the country. It's been from Texas to Canada a couple of times. Do you have any idea where I might find a frame for a 58/59 I don't really want to cut on my original chassis, after all these years it seems kinda like an old friend. I thought that if I could find another frame I could do all the modifications and then transfer the cab and sheet metal over. I found a 55 chassis but I have been told that these are a couple of inches shorter than the 58/59. There is a 55 at the corner of Senaca and maple for sale, very rusty and I don't know what he want's for it.
    Regards Bob
