Hey guys, haven't been here in a while figured I'd drop in and say hi. And show you what I've been working on this winter.

    No, it's a 250 but I'm going with a 216 alum finned valve cover.

Here are some specs on the motor: Crank has been knife edged, balanced, forged pistons w/domes, 11.25 to 1 compression, 1.94, 1.60 valves, head has been ported and polished and lump ports installed in the intake runners. The head flows 285 cfm compared to the stock 170cfm. Aluminum intake with 3 deuce carbs (demon 98 retro strombergs) 205cfm each, Competition Cam .536 lift, and roller rocker arms with screw in 7/16 studs. This motor went together with alot of help from Larry at T6 racing in florida ( he specializes in 6 cylinders), comp cams and everyone I talked to said this motor should make around 425 h.p. I will be tickled if it makes 350.

    Wow !

Just the head work alone will make it a great driver ! .

I believe if improving flow on ALL engines , then there's no need to bump it up into Hot Rod territory where the service life is greatly diminished .

The Chevy 250 thinwall InLine 6 Banger is indeed a GREAT engine .
