i ended up having to change the stop light switch but now only the drivers side brake light lights up when i push on the brake pedal. im halfway there.what could be the cause of this. i also have a problem with a header gasket its puffing some air but there is a set of locking hex screws and i cant get any allen wrench i have in one of the screws because of where the bend is on the header does anyone know of some kind different tool i could use so i can change this gasket.

Okay I had the same problem with my brake lights and found out that it wasn't propley grounded to the frame or it could also be a bad light or even maybe it might be the entire light harness. As far as the header bolt try going from the under side to get too it, or get some longer allen wrenchs with shorter heads or bends.

Get a set of allen wrenches with a ball shape on the end. This will get you around the header.

I had the same prob. w/ my taillights... swap'd out housings and they work fine. sometimes if moisture gets in there it'll corode and BAM! no ground/connection...as far as the headers go, no clue. the shorties i got from hedman work VERY well....
