Basically two 3/8" threaded rods, 1 right handed thread and 1 left handed thread and a coupling with right and left handed threads. Much like a tie rod, turn the coupling to adjust the tension on the belt. Unfortunately all the hardware stores around here don't carry left handed thread bolts and nuts so I had to place a order with Mcmaster Carr. The opposite side brackets will look the same, with a 3/8" nut welded onto the bracket.

You should try the hardware store. Lowes or home depot. Most carry turn buckles for barn doors and other things. Maybe a feed store. So are you running 1 belt or 2. Curious because The crank only has 1 pulley?? Looks really good. One more question. Did you by a kit to mount your steering box, and are you still runing the stock steering wheel. Did you have a write up on that part of your install.

I will be running 2 belts. 1 will go around the crank, water pump and power steering pump. The other will go on the second groove of the p/s pump pulley and up to the alternator.

I used the Classic Performance Products (CPP) basic kit to mount the box. I bought the box locally. I am not running the stock column, bought a telescoping/tilt column off a guy on stovebolt.com

    this is what I bought

There are quite a few tech articles about installing this kit and using the stock column. Many people use this lower column bearing
