Hi Guys and Gals I'm new to this forum. I've always loved the boxy look of these old trucks. I have to admit I am new to all this and am a VERY slow typer. I recently purchased a 1982 Chevy Silverado K-10 pickup truck. It was originally a diesel. The previous owner put a 350 engine in it. Because it was a Wisconsin truck it has a little bit of rust on the doors and rocker panels. I intend to purchase two mid-80's surburban doors. Will they fit properly? I would also like to know exactly what k-10 stands for? Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated. Thank you---Elias
Welcome aboard Welcome to the forum. 1st question is yes. 77-91 surburban front doors will fit you truck. 77-87 trucks will fit also. 2nd question . The K stands for 4wd. C stands for 2wd. 10 stands for 1/2 ton. 20 for 3/4 ton & 30 for 1 ton.
