Why is the 78 thru 81 master switch so high compared to the the 82 thru 87 whats the difference because i needed one for my 81 silverado when i checked on price i was floored by the price difference !!!!
Been awhile since I've seen a '78-'81 truck w/ pw in the salvage yard and they were basically the same, but I think they had a slightly different style connector. If you have an older switch you can take it to the parts store to compare it to the newer ones (found in the Help! parts section).
