on my 1960 c-10 pick-up, my shop manual expains the torsion bars
as parts that are spring loaded, need to be set to obtain correct curb height for setting caster & camber. my question is:
since they are spring loaded, is it something that can freeze up from being not used (such as truck being stored for long periods of time)or will not work properly from not being serviced regulary.

    thanks for the help,

Wendall, the only thing that might go wrong with your torsion bars is rust on the adjusting bolt. A shot of Aero-Kroil or PB Blaster should loosen up the threads so that you can make the proper adjustments.
