Howdy....a couple of questions that via search couldn't really find an answer....
    1) Where do you mount a Saginaw PS pump on these 6 cylinder engines (230,250).

    2) And how does the horn assemble on a stock shaft? I've got manuals and still doesn't make sense how this works.

Any help on either ? would be appreciated.

    Much Thanks,

    Steve

I Had to find a bracket set up for my 250 cyl the pump mounts below the alt on the same side. Try Ebay Or junk yards the are more common in the 70's trucks or cars. My brackets are out of a 75 nova Kilroy was here!!!!

What truck do you have? I just finished replacing the horn parts on my 63.

Pretty simple once you figure it out. and you're right, the assembly manual doesn't do much good for this part of the job.

I've got a 66...expect the assembly would be the same. Thanks for any description you can give.

I would like to see some photos of the factory power steering pump mounting brackets for a 250 or 292 six cylinder on a 4-5-6 Chevy truck.

That makes two of us. I have mine mounted, but it has never really been road tested. I went through a lot of brackets to make it fit!
