    HELP!!!

Installed new sending unit with new rubber gasket (from Chevy Duty, of course) and now can't get rid of gas fumes. x( x(

What gasket sealant do I use to eliminate gas fumes? What other steps do I need to take?

Thanks and speedy replies are especially appreciated.

Hey Biggy. Yes it does suck. Sucks almost as much as trying to get some feedback on this forum.

I've posted the same question at stovebolt.com after i posted it here and have gotten a dozen replies. Check there in the "Lounge" forum.

i used the gasket with silicone smeared on both sides. i also had to replace the filler hose. and make sure that the line going into the tank isnt leaking . I have no problems
