I was bead blasting parts yesterday and found this part. I have no idea what it is or where it goes? I cannot find it in the Factory Ass. Manual [no surprise].

Does anybody know what this is?

Looks like the clip that hold the door lock to the door. Just one on the passenger side on an AD truck.

I remember seeing it somewhere. Best I can remember is it has something to do with your doors, windows, or trim.

    Evan,

Thanks. I think you are right and I only have one of them, so it makes sense.

    I know, I know!
It goes on the steering column where the horn wire come out under the dash. Here is a pic. Please pay no attention to the fact that mine is under the steering column. I put it on upside down when I rebuilt my steering box. (Over 50 moment)

Sorry Evan... Gater wins the prize.

It is for the steering column horn wire.

Next time I will remember to photographer a ruler for scale.

He sure does, if I would have looked closely enough I would have seen the "bump" where the wire comes through---old eyes, old brain.
