Did Chevy use an undercoating on the frames in certain areas? In the process of stripping down the frame I have found what looks like an undercoating. It is around the front and back cab mount areas, and around the battery tray.
In the build book, it shows it applied down the side of the frame under the floor, I guess where the road debris would be slung up from the tires.
