new to the forum, and have a issue with the wipers, on my 84 gmc burban, it has a delay, low and high, delay currently doesn't work at all, low and high work fine, but when i turn them off they stop where ever they are, they don't return to the "down" position and the bottom on the windshield, any one know what may be causing this...??

This sounds like a ground on the wiper motor has gone bad for the stopping position. But since you have delay there might be a bad conecetion plug to or your motor needs replaced.Check all conecetion clean all the grounds. There should be a ground from the motor to the body some where. If you look on one of my post about the same topic it will show you where the none delay motor ground is. if you do a search and can not find it look for it getting late tonight.

thanks for the response on the wiper issues, unfortunatly my suburban caught fire shortly after the posting, looks like the fuel line struck a leak, and pretty much took out all the engine compartment, i am in process of rebuiling it, and will probably just install a new wiper motor assembly and switch while i'm at it.
