    Hi All,

Thanks for the Feedback on my Parking Brake dilema it helped a lot.

Now I'm pondering getting a lower ratio to cut down on highway RPM's. I did the Ring/pinion change on my 47', good results but expensive.

Is there a 6 bolt wheel, Drum, rearend, easy to find that will give me good highway speeds that is more cost effective then the gear change out, I'm thinking of?

It is a stock 53' 3100 series I have a 235 in it that really pushes it great compared to the 216 in my 47'. How about some tried and true options

Remember that you'll also need a driveshaft and a different output shaft on your transmission (or a different complete transmission) if you swap out the rear axle.

    Rainy days...

If your weekend is blah and rainy like it is here, spend some time doing a search of this question. There has been MUCH input on this issue. Lots of good ideas/advice.

Thanks Bill, There's always collateral damage isn't there. Suddenly $400 for ring and pinion seems about right. I wouldn't mind a Saginaw 4 speed instead of the old Bulldawg that's in there now!
