I recently purchased the rubber floormat from our host (CP). I don't know if I have a defective one or if I ordered the wrong one. Since there was no other choice, I have to assume I ordered the right one. My problem is there is no cutout for the accelerator or starter pedals. There is a cut out for the 4-on-the-floor stick, but I don't need this. Has anyone else purchased this floormat and is this normal? Greg
Re-Pop Rubber Mats Yep ; That change began a few years ago when the HotRodders began whining about unused holes...... Just make up a thin cardboard template and test use that a few days before you cut your new rubber mat and ruin it . Oh yeah , save the beer for after , I learned that by trimming the NOS rubber mat in my '46 1/4" too narrow !
Good to know. I guess I will shop for mine somewhere else. Maybe the transmission shft hole can be adapted for a "drink" holder?
Guess I got lucky. When I first began the refurb on my kids truck, I spied a guy in Hemmings selling a floor mat for $20.00. It came in the box unused and had all the cut-outs in it. Must have been an older one, but it fits perfect. Andy
