When our trucks were shipped like this ?

    Some new Chevy trucks of the 1960's on their way to work !

    I remember seeing cars of all makes transported like this, wow ....... got this from an earlier post from a link from member 48long3804, and I think I found this great picture there, .........don't you wish you had some of these new condition GM trucks ?

    That's a nice pic .

    We used to have TWO K-10 Suburbans like those , one was powder blue , the other was black and white , horizontal split .

    BOTH has 230 CID InLine 6 Bangers .

    New cars

    They had to start covering them in the 70s. Vandals would throw stuff & shoot them up was the reason. Now a days you can hardley tell what kind they are :confused:. During the era this pic was made we waited, with high excitement :rolleyes:, untill Sept to get to look at the new cars. Now no one much cares. :(

    Certainly is one of my fav pics of all time. I've seen it a number of places and every time I do I stop and stare at it for a few minutes. Makes a great desktop background for the pc, too.
