i am swapping out my v6. i'm assuming i need motor and tranny mounts. i'm wondering if i need to beef up the springs for the weight difference.
I think the popular way to handle the extra weight is to make it a "heavy half" by putting 3/4ton springs in. I've read that the stock 1/2ton suspension doesn't hold up well to the weight of a big block. Probably would be a good idea.
