I have a 64 C10 with a 230/250 I6 in it and I think previous owner put a newer style altenator on it, anyways the altenator does not line up with the water pump and fan pulley, I already drilled different holes as far back as I could, but it still likes a 1/2 inch or less. Is there any place that might have different brackets for this swap or do I need to just make my own?

Have you tried pulley spacers on the water pump ? I'm not sure which way they are off.

Water pump pulley too far forward ? or rearward ??

The altenator is too far back towards the firewall.
I'll take a pic and post it in a bit.

If there is a rebuilder near you get a double pulley from them. They were used on Cadillacs for sure and probably others also. I think they sell them new at parts stores too. By running your belt in the front groove it will be forward by a half inch or so.
