What's a good lubricant for all the little rubber pieces on these ole trucks. Like for the axle bumpers and shackle rubbers, etc... Something to keep them from dry rotting and cracking. I'm using Steele rubber products but still want them to last.
    Thanks

I have used vaseline on door and sunroof weatherstriping in the past, just to make it more pliable and soft.

For the past 100 years or so--RuGlide. I think NAPA stocks it.

Silicon fluid or stick. Dont know if this remedy is for sale in the USA ?
Norway is a cold country in winter period and protection off synthetic rubber claims synthetic fluid. I have good experiences with it.

    Silicon

I take also every year a silicon spray and put it on the rubber surface. Let it dry and clean up with a flannel.
If it's very cold the rubber don't stick on the metal surface.

    Oddly Enough

Talcum powder works really well on the body rubber , door seals etc. , they used to make little puffers so you'd only get it in a narrow band puffing out and not all over the paint .

Silicone grease when installing the chassis rubber parts .

    Rubber Lube

Thanks everyone. I will try some of these remedies. Here in Florida I don't worry about it being to cold so I'll try the others before I go with silicon.:D

I wonder how no touch for tire the one without Silicone would work on most of the body and sup rubbers. Any thought it a cleaner and protector.
