I have been tinkering with a 1952 1/2 ton 3100 for years and I have just added a 1987 chevy 1/2 ton long bedto the garage.
I have a couple questions about the NEW truck. It is a R-10, per the registration. What is the difference between a R-10 and a C-10?
How can I tell if mune has a large hump or small hump? is there a measurement?
    thanks

In 1987 Chevy changed the Line description and Chassis type.
    C10/ 2WD 1981-86
    K10/ 4WD 1981-86
    R10/ 2WD 1987-89
    V10/ 4WD 1987-89

    The tunnel hieght usually follows.
    2WD low tunnel
    4WD high tunnel

When I changed cabs I had to installed a high tunnel to clear the transfer.
