Î bought last weekend a 235cui from 1954 for my 1946 1/2 ton and now i need some parts. I need a Balancer with 2 groove - 1 for normal parts and the second for power steering. Where is a cheap vendor for this? I took a look on damperdoctor.com but i think about $450 is too expensive.
And could somebody give me a recommendation concerning carbs. i would like to use 2 carbs with the Fenton intake from Patricks.

I have a 1954 balancer in good condition for 3/8 belt. Not shore which carburator modell/Brand carburator you want to use , but i have a Rochester B with manual choke and and a Rochester BC (autm.choke), both are looked over and in good condition.
If you are intrested be kind to send me your e.mail adres.

Volker , hold out for a pair of Carter YF carbys , look in older posts for the correct # , it'll stamped on each and every part of the carby .

Make sure you get the correct one for a 235 , the 216 ones have a smaller base and won't fit the 235 manifold .

Be aware these are not cheap carbys ! .

You clould begin with just one YF and see how much better it makes your engine run....
